Mansfields Imperial Laundry has become the latest supporter of the
Chelsea Barsby Campaign, the Mansfield based fund that helps children
with eye cancer.
The Nottingham Road based Laundry got behind the Campaign at the
companys recent Dinner and Dance by holding a major prize raffle
that included a trolley dash at Safeways on Nottingham Road. Office
Manager, Trish Adams organised the raffle which raised £400.
"Each year we select a charity to raise funds for and the Chelsea
Barsby Campaign has been taken to the hearts of many of our employees,"
said Imperial Laundry Director, Robert Hill.
"The way Nottinghamshire businesses have come out in support
of the Campaign is fantastic and we cannot thank them enough. This
is not the first time the Imperial Laundry has helped the Campaign
and we would like to thank every single member of staff," said
Campaign Trustee, Graham Parker.
