Support for Chelsea

The CBC was established to help Chelsea Barsby and her family through the trauma of dealing with eye cancer.
Funds are to be used to help Chelsea lead a full, active and enjoyable life.
All funds raised are put at the disposal of the Trustees who have total discretion on how the funds are used; no expenditure is approved without the prior approval of all the Trustees.
All funds raised and expenditure are accounted for and registered in the CBC accounts.
Funds may be used to purchase special equipment or facilities, travel for treatment or care breaks.

Support for other Children

Wherever possible, at the discretion of the Trustees of the CBC, the CBC will support other children in similar situations to Chelsea by providing funds on receipt of a letter of application to the CBC.
Support may be offered to fund the purchase of special equipment or facilities, travel for treatment or care breaks.
Letters of application must clearly state the case history of the child, what the funds are to be used for and other sources of funding that have been sought.
The CBC will not provide more than 50% of the project cost or more than £500, whichever is the greater.
All support is at the total discretion of the Trustees whose decision is final; no expenditure is approved without the prior approval of all the Trustees.
All expenditure will be accounted for and registered in the CBC accounts.
